A Hundred Years With the Giants and the Gods: Christians and Twentieth Century Philosophy

Charles Taliaferro

Charles Taliaferro provides an overview of Christians in twentieth century philosophy with emphasis on the Christian encounter with naturalists (whom Plato might refer to as the "giants") and the idealists (Plato's "gods"). This paper chronicles the renaissance of Christian philosophy in the aftermath of positivism. Mr. Taliaferro is Professor of Philosophy at St. Olaf College.
