A Response to John Netland

Roger Lundin

Roger Lundin responds to John Netland's defense of Romanticism by pointing out what he believes to be significant misinterpretations of recent scholarship regarding the Romantic movement. Furthermore, he argues, one should pay greater attention to the influence and legacy of Romanticism over the past one hundred years than many of its Christian defenders do. Mr. Lundin is professor of English at Wheaton College.
