In this anchor essay, Stephen T. Davis discusses aspects of multiculturalism on college campuses which are consistent with or depart from Christian faith. While arguing that multiculturalism's commitment to increased diversity comports with Christianity's commitment to justice, he cautions that the movement is usually allied with relativist epistemologies and that a consequence of multiculturalism has been a balkanization of campuses. Dr. Davis is Professor of Philosophy at Claremont McKenna College.
