Craig Gay responds to several objections Ron Sider levels against his book, With Liberty and Justice for Whom? (1991), which locates Sider left of center in the recent evangelical debate over capitalism. He also points out what he perceives as a certain irony in Sider's concern to depict himself as a moderately conservative defender of market economics. Mr. Gay teaches at Regent College in Vancouver, Canada.
