The "findings" or "facts" of "science" are often cited in the moral/ecclesiastical debates about homosexual orientation and behavior. Such citations are often inaccurate or simplistic. What does the research really show? Stanton Jones and Mark Yarhouse survey the research on prevalence, etiology, status as a psychopathology, and change of homosexuality in this article. Dr. Jones is Provost at Wheaton College and formerly Chair of the Psychology Department. Mr. Yarhouse is a doctoral candidate in the Doctor of Psychology program at Wheaton College.
