Gary Strauss applies a postmodern adaptation of the Wesleyan Quadrilateral to an examination of the experience of and the acting upon a homosexual orientation. He concludes that the voices of Scripture, orthodox tradition, human experience and reason lead to a confirmation of the historic evangelical position which must be applied in a highly compassionate and humble manner. Dr. Strauss is an associate professor at the Rosemead School of Psychology of Biola University.
