The End of Property Rights and the Future of Social Justice Prophecy

Jonathan Mills

The prevailing opinion about the end of the Cold War is that capitalism has triumphed over both secularist and religious socialism. Jonathan Mills takes issue with this view, arguing that post-Cold War capitalism recognizes the moral superiority of socialism, and that the culturally pervasive recognition of capitalism's faultiness as an ideal opens the future to renewed possibilities for social justice prophecy. Mr. Mills lectures in moral theology at Regent College, Vancouver, Canada.
